I haven't heard about the transformer nor why it exists. I will have to investigate.

Robots or things that look like robots are awesome. Giant sculptures are awesome. I don't know the word for when you combine the two.

I have been looking for the statue ever since I saw it on popcitymedia.com a long time ago, but have never been able to find it. Thanks Texburgher! To help Norm, the artists name is "Glenn Kaino".

This is leading me to think about the favorite things I have randomly stumbled upon in Pittsburgh, and the list is long.

There have been some similar city sculptures in London- I think the last one was a huge robotic-like spider climbing a building that just sort of- appeared!

It's made of steel and bridges... how cool is that?! Why didn't I know about this before?! Oh, I think someone needs to stick a Santa hat on that robot and take some candid shots for Christmas.

This only shows that your heart is still young and will never grow old. Transformers are for kids...remember. Anyhow, the mere fact that it was put there, you should applaud the "installer" because the scene makes one say wow!
